As a mental health practice, we are committed to protecting your privacy. All clinical information is handled in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and applicable New Jersey state laws governing mental health confidentiality.

Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide care and communicate with you. This may include your name, contact information, and any details you voluntarily provide through our contact form or during consultation. When you first arrive at our website from any source — a search result, a link on another site, an advertisement, or a typed address — we also record the first page you visited, the site that referred you, and any campaign parameters carried in the link. That information stays in your own browser and is used for up to 90 days; it is sent to our office with your message if you use the contact form. After 90 days your next visit replaces it, and if you do not come back it stays in your browser until you clear your browsing data.

Contact Form

Messages sent through our website contact form are delivered to our office email by FormSubmit, a third-party form delivery service, together with any campaign information described above. FormSubmit’s published documentation states that it retains form submissions for 30 days. Messages are not encrypted end-to-end. While we take reasonable precautions to protect submitted information, we recommend against including highly sensitive clinical details in your initial message. The contact page also uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated programs; it receives your IP address and technical information about your browser, but not the content of your message.

Third-Party Services

Our website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how people find and use the site. Google receives the address of each page you open on this website, together with a pseudonymous identifier for your browser and your IP address; on a page about a specific concern, the address itself indicates what you were reading. We do not send your name, email address, phone number, or the content of your message to Google. We also use standard third-party hosting and content-delivery services. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Your Rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to legal and clinical record-keeping requirements.
